Polarization-Optical Parameters of the Axisymmetric Residual Stresses in an Isotropic Dielectric Cylinder

We consider the direct problem of determination axisymmetric residual stresses in a finite isotropic dielectric cylindrical body caused by diagonal tensor inconsistent eigenstrains whose components depend only on radial coordinate. The parameters stress field are investigated using obtained solution problem. These can be empirically found polarization-optical method as result sounding with rays polarized light different directions and then used input data for inverse problems nondestructive stress-strain state. three sets planes space symmetry For each set, we establish integral relations connecting values corresponding polarizationoptical distributions direction raysounding. perform quantitative investigations depending level their gradients. results these enable us to estimate informativity empirical that ray-sounding cylinder along directions.
